Who This Is For

Primes and subs filling BOMs, kits, and CLIN hardware

If you build to a government contract, hardware is rarely the hard engineering — but it is reliably the annoying twenty percent of the BOM. The bracket and the housing get machined on schedule while purchasing chases MS screws in an odd length, a self-locking nut that two distributors no-quoted, and an O-ring that only ever sold through DLA channels. Every one of those lines needs a price for the proposal before award and a compliant source after award, and the clock on both is short.

Quick Brown Fox Solutions stocks over 8,000 mil-spec and NSN hardware lines — screws, bolts and studs, nuts, washers, rivets, O-rings, fittings — with the unit price published on every page. No login, no RFQ wall, no "call for pricing." Your estimator can cost the hardware section of a proposal from our catalog on a Tuesday afternoon, and your buyer can turn the same list into a purchase order after award knowing the numbers still match.

Origin & Compliance

DFARS qualifying-country origin, stated plainly

Our stock items are country of origin Türkiye (Turkey) — and for DoD work that is a stronger position than most buyers assume. Türkiye is a NATO ally with a reciprocal defense procurement agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense, which makes it a qualifying country under DFARS 225.003. On DoD and DLA solicitations, qualifying-country end products are evaluated without Buy American price penalties — they compete on par with domestic product — and the DoD trade-agreements clause at DFARS 252.225-7021 expressly accepts qualifying-country end products.

On the Trade Agreements Act: the TAA only applies to supply contracts at or above $174,000 (the threshold effective March 2026). Below that line — where the overwhelming majority of hardware buys fall — it does not apply at all. Türkiye is not a TAA designated country, so the main exclusion for our stock is civilian-agency TAA-covered solicitations at or above that threshold. Buyers confirm the origin clauses of their specific solicitation; our guide to DLA sourcing and NSN origin rules walks through the clause logic in detail.

Every order ships with source documentation and country-of-origin paperwork, so what goes into your contractor purchasing system file is exactly what your compliance reviewer wants to see: who made it, where it came from, and the lot behind it. And when a line item on your contract is print-defined rather than standard, our custom CNC machining is the other half of the house — produced in the United States through an ISO 9001:2015 certified production network.

How Ordering Works

From BOM to PO in three moves

1. Price from the page. Find items by category in the shop, by part number (MS, NAS, AN, AS, mil-spec, or OEM), or by National Stock Number. The same item carries the same published price on every path, so estimating needs no phone calls.

2. Batch the RFQ. Paste the hardware lines from your BOM — part numbers or NSNs with quantities — into one RFQ. One submission, one consolidated quote, one supplier record in your purchasing system instead of five. We acknowledge every RFQ within one business day with firm pricing, lead time, and a documentation list. Volume pricing is quoted on request.

3. Order and receive. Fulfillment is within 90 days of order — plan hardware releases against your build schedule, not the panel-open date. A minimum order may apply; for kit builds and consumables it usually pays to buy the minimum into stores rather than pay handling twice. Every shipment arrives with source and country-of-origin documentation for receiving inspection.

Why It Matters

What this buys you at proposal time and at delivery time

At proposal time: real numbers instead of plug figures. A BOM costed from published prices is a BOM you can defend in a cost review, and it removes the padding you would otherwise carry against "TBD hardware." It also removes the week you would spend waiting for distributor quotes that arrive after the proposal ships.

At delivery time: a compliant paper trail without a fight. Origin is declared up front — not discovered at receiving — and the qualifying-country framework gives your contracts team a clean, citable basis for using it on DoD work. If your program office or a civilian-agency clause set rules our stock out for a particular buy, you know before you order, not after.

FAQ

Defense contractor questions, answered

Is Türkiye-origin hardware acceptable on DoD and DLA contracts?

Türkiye is a DFARS qualifying country (DFARS 225.003, reciprocal defense procurement agreement). Qualifying-country end products are evaluated without Buy American price penalties on DoD and DLA solicitations, and DFARS 252.225-7021 expressly accepts them. The TAA only applies to supply contracts at or above $174,000 (threshold effective March 2026); Türkiye is not TAA-designated, so civilian-agency TAA-covered buys at or above that threshold are the main exclusion. Confirm your specific solicitation's clauses.

Can you quote a full bill of materials at once?

Yes — paste the hardware lines with quantities into one RFQ and we return one consolidated quote, acknowledged within one business day. Published pricing means you can pre-cost the list before you even send it.

What documentation ships with each order?

Source documentation — item and manufacturer identification, lot traceability where it exists, certificates of conformance where available — plus country-of-origin paperwork on every order.

What are the standard ordering terms?

Published pricing on every page, order by part number or NSN, RFQ acknowledged within one business day, fulfillment within 90 days of order, minimum order may apply.
